Head Varsity Baseball Coach

Coach Rodenkirk is entering his 8th season as the head varsity baseball coach at Linn-Mar, and his 21st overall in high school baseball (289-235 overall record in 14 years as a head coach).

The Lions are 149-106 (.584) over the last seven seasons and have been in the sub-state final game 5 out of 7 years.  Rodenkirk came to Linn-Mar after a five year stint at his alma mater Cedar Rapids Jefferson (2013-2017). The J-Hawks went 118-77 (.605) including a state tournament appearance in 2016.  He also spent two years as head coach at Anamosa HS (2010-2011) and five years as a lower level coach at Jefferson HS.  Rodenkirk was also a varsity assistant at Linn-Mar in 2012.
